GRADES

Our grades are in now, and I am pleased. I was only disappointed by my grade in Property, until I thought about it a little more. I realized that everybody else spend a great deal of time studying for it, and apparently not as much on the other classes. So, I'm over that. Life is good.

TOM WANTS TO BE YOUR LAWYER

SUMMER SCHOOL

I'm currently taking Texas Civil Procedure. Which is similar to the first year class in Federal Civil Procedure, but with obvious differences. Our professor is good too, he has made Texas Monthly's Super Lawyers list, and has a lot of appellate experience. I like his approach to teaching this too -- the idea is you learn these rules so that when something comes up you're covered. This is the class where you learn when to stand up and say objection, and other do other things on time, like asking for a new trial.
